Everyone wants to exercise more, but how? Answer: make it as pleasant as possible. Sweating in a dirty, hot garage is no fun. But with your treadmill or exercise bike in a comfortable room, watching exciting movies or videos can make the workout enjoyable (especially if your partner asks "why are you watching that crap?") Here's how how well different movies and series get my pulse up. All comments welcome.

Review of JENNIFER'S BODY
JENNIFER'S BODY
JENNIFER, a teenage girl, and her friend ANITA ('Needy') attend a rock concert at a local bar. A fire breaks out, and in the ensuing confusion, Jennifer leaves the bar with the band. Afterwards, she starts acting…well…strangely, that is, seducing, killing, and eating her male fellow students. Friend Anita is worried. It turns out the band members needed a virgin sacrifice to Satan in order to advance their careers (talk about overly-ambitious musicians), so they chose Jennifer and, in an appropriately spooky locale, murdered her. But she wasn't a virgin (don't you hate when that happens?) Instead of her dying, a demon entered her body and caused her to go on this murderous rampage. Anita is unhappy with this state of affairs, but when Jennifer goes after Anita's boyfriend, then Anita becomes really pissed.
I'll be honest. I rented this one because of the sexy trailers. According to Wikipedia (which has the full details of a rather complicated plot), the movie is supposed to be a dark comedy/horror. I found it sort of funny, but didn't realize the humor was intentional. As for horror, well, I wasn't scared, though there were a few tense moments.
As light entertainment, this isn't bad, but there's nothing to get enthusiastic about. For a workout movie, it'll serve. I give it +++ - it will get your pulse up to a jog. If you see it, let me know what you think.
